This blog will contain the highlights of my experience teaching in Japan through the JET Program. I was accepted to the program in April of this year, and placed in Satstumasendai-shi, Kagoshima-ken, Japan. I will be working as an assistant language teacher in two high school in Kagoshima prefecture.
Oh, and I’ll also be moving thousands of miles away from where I’ve lived my entire life to immerse myself in an entirely new culture, language, and community.
